This collection is dedicated to the memory of my late father, Daniel Laiz Gordón. Painting these florals has been therapeutic for me while recovering from the trauma of his sudden death. I tried to reflect colorful, beautiful abstract flowers using oil paint, crayons or watercolor pencils, in a way that was instinctive to me, that felt natural and that encouraged me to create beauty that could brighten other people's day.
